Pacific Erectors installed 40,000 square feet of Formawall Dimension Series insulated metal panels manufactured by Centria. This Southern California museum was designed to achieve a Platinum LEED Certification—the highest possible certification—from the U.S. Green Building Council. Our extensive construction experience, along with the cradle-to-cradle certification provided by Centria, were crucial in successfully achieving this goal.

This project consisted of the installation of various façade components, including perforated aluminum plate fabricated by Overly Manufacturing, profile and insulated metal panels manufactured by Centria, and composite roof and air side accents by Keith Panel Systems. Pacific Erectors installed a total of 47,000 square feet of façade materials on both the air and terminal sides of the airport.

Extending more than two city blocks, the Transbay Terminal represents the single largest use of high-end architectural metals in the Bay Area. This project required the installation of more than 40,000 square feet of orange-painted 1/8-inch panels fabricated by Architectural Systems, Inc. of Missouri. In addition, Pacific Erectors installed 160,000 square feet of façade material sourced from Centria, Pacific Erectors, Keith Panel Systems, Architectural Systems, and Green Screen. Lastly, all elevators in the structure were clad in heavy-gauge stainless steel, using the A316 panel manufactured by Keith Panel Systems.
